Exam Preparation Tips

Post by student svcs lib »

Hello all,

As we draw closer to your first round of finals, I thought I would pass along some excerpts on exam preparation from the Law Library's Success Collection, located on the second floor across from the Service Desk.

4. Section on Exam Prep from Professor Monestier's Sh*t No One Tells You About Law School I hope these short readings will assist you as you get ready for your exams.

If you are feeling nervous, please know that everyone else feels that way too! We all have been where you are now and you will get through it. You will be home relaxing over the Holidays before you know it! That being said if you are struggling with your mental health, know that everyone here at the law school is here for you. Many of us, including myself, have struggled with our mental health and law school can be especially taxing. There are many resources available to you, which you can find here: https://www.buffalo.edu/studentlife/lif ... ealth.html or with anyone at the law school. Please reach out if you need help.

Speaking of holidays, if you are heading home for Thanksgiving and have a long car ride ahead, you may want to check out some study aids on CD from the second floor Service Desk or listen to the audio study aids available through our West Study Aid subscription: https://gate.lib.buffalo.edu/login?url= ... demic.com/. And remember the Law Library has print study aids on the 5th floor, and past exams online: http://law.buffalo.edu/pastexams/.

If my colleagues in the law library or I can help you in any way over the coming weeks, please let us know. We are always here for you!

All the best,
Austin
