Workstudy Position Available - Office of Student Life

The workstudy student position for the Director of Student Life in the School of Law performs a variety of duties including assisting with coordination of student engagement, event management, writing, proofing correspondences and documents, printing and assembling mailing, answering phones, as well as student outreach efforts.

The successful candidate will also assist in implementation data driven student engagement programs such as student engagement surveys. This position will assist in event and program coordination including commencement, student awards convocation, Students of Color Dinner, OUTLaw Dinner, Law Review Dinner, mentoring program, as well as other student co-curricular activities.

The Office of Student Life works in a highly collaborative environment with most departments in the law school as well as student organizations and groups. Prior event management experience is helpful. Quality writing skills in editing and proof reading are a must. Applicants should have proficiency in Word and Excel as well as a background in research. Experience in PowerPoint, Photoshop and InDesign is also helpful.
This position has a flexible schedule based on class schedule. Applicants must have a workstudy award letter.
