ORIENTATION Volunteers: Looking for a few good students!

The School of Law is gearing up to welcome the Class of 2024, transfer and LL.M. students this August! We are looking for some wonderful 2L and 3L volunteers to help during Orientation.

Here is a list of programs, times and locations.

Monday, August 23 - Formal Welcome Program- 7:45a- 2:30pm. Center for the Arts
- This includes set-up, welcoming new students, meet & greet, lunch, helping with class photo and escorting new students to O’Brian Hall after programs for afternoon sessions.
- Looking for 10 – 20 volunteers
- Volunteers receive a t-shirt to wear day-of. Please send size of t-shirt. Coffee in the morning and lunch will be provided to volunteers.

Tuesday, Aug 24 – Lunch & Department Tabling 11:30a – 1:30p. O’Brian Lobby.
- Help serve lunch or snack
- Help with table set-up
- Looking for 4 volunteers

Friday, August 27: Court Trip- 8:30am-2pm. Downtown Buffalo & lunch @Pearl at the Webb
- Helping escort new students to various courts (walking involved)
- Looking for 4 to 8 volunteers
- Transportation/parking on your own. Lunch will be provided. Masks must be worn inside courts.


Volunteers will be asked to assist with welcome, setup, break down, etc. This is a great opportunity to welcome the newest members of our law school community!

Please respond to Amy Atkinson (aatkins@buffalo.edu ), by August 1 and include your t-shirt size (if volunteering on 8/23) and availability for which program. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
