Post by AdvocacyInstitute »

Come learn about the appellate advocacy programs and moot court teams offered by UB Law School and our Advocacy Institute, and the requirements for achieving the Certificate in Advocacy. Appellate work is where one can help develop the law that broadly applies to multiple cases. The Advocacy Institute and UB Law's programs in appellate advocacy develop your skills in legal research, developing and supporting arguments, persuasive writing, and in oral communication -- all skills that every lawyer needs. And students who excel in appellate advocacy competitions are highly sought after in the legal job market. Pizza will be served!
