IRS Office of Chief Counsel Roundtable

Post by CSO »

Are you interested in tax? Even if you haven’t thought about a career in tax, do you like Litigation or Transactional Law? Have you ever considered a career with the federal government? Are you worried about having a work/life balance when you graduate? IRS' Office of Chief Counsel might be the place for you, either to start your career and gain valuable experience that might take years to get in private sector jobs, if ever, or for your whole career!

Come join the IRS’ Office of Chief Counsel Deputy Chief Counsel in a virtual roundtable to discuss a day in the life of an IRS' attorney on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 3pm eastern. This session will be a time for you to ask questions, get to know more about the agency, learn more about our hiring process, and talk to attorneys about their experience at Counsel. These sessions are open to all current students.

This meeting will be on June 21, at 3pm (eastern).

Later this summer, the Office of Chief Counsel will be hiring 2Ls, 3Ls and LLMs students. See http://jobs.irs.gov/counsel for information on open positions and hiring. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn about the Office of Chief Counsel and get some of your questions answered.
