FREE Registration for Buffalo Law Students - Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair

Post by CSO »

Free Registration for Buffalo Students

As you know, registration for the Equal Justice Works 2018 Conference and Career Fair is now open, and we are excited to announce that UB School of Law will pay the registration fee for all of its student attendees.

Please also be sure to visit the Equal Justice Works website here<http://www.equaljusticeworks.org/law-sc ... r/students> to learn more about the event, including the event schedule and travel information. Important note: If you are no longer able to attend the event, email careerfair@equaljusticeworks.org to request your registration be cancelled before October 12.

To register, access the portal here<https://myinterfase.com/equaljusticewor ... %2fstudent> and follow the instructions on the attached Guide. [This Guide is specific to students that have their schools pay so it will be not exactly the same as the one that students will find on the main webpage. If you follow the traditional Guide and pay by accident, just let careerfair@equaljusticeworks.org know and they will refund you.]

Once you create your profile and the registration form, you will be directed to a credit card payment form. At this point, you can log out. Your registration will be complete even though it says you have not paid. You will be able to log back in to the system, apply for jobs, and schedule interviews. If you have any questions, please careerfair@equaljusticeworks.org.

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS:

* If you have previously registered for the Conference and Career Fair, follow the instructions for "using a previous account" starting at the bottom of page two of the guide. Make sure to update your class year.

* If this is your first time registering, follow the instructions for "creating an account" starting at the top of page two of the guide. Please note that if you are new to the event, you must create a profile AND register for the event in order to finalize your registration and apply for jobs.

* Follow the instructions for "registering to attend" starting at the bottom of page three of the guide.

* Once you click Save, you will be registered and a credit card payment screen will appear. Simply log out of the database.

* Once you log back in, you will have a note in your "task list" on the home page that says your event registration is incomplete. However, this will not affect your ability to attend the event, view employers, apply for interviews, or be selected for interviews. Please ignore the message and continue following the instructions in the guide to upload documents, submit applications and accept interview invitations.

PLEASE NOTE:

* You will NOT receive a confirmation email from Equal Justice Works regarding your registration.

* If you accidentally pay your registration fees, reach out to careerfair@equaljusticeworks.org and you will be refunded-there's no need to cancel your registration or wait. Equal Justice Works will do this for any Buffalo student up through October 12th.

2L and 3L students who want to apply for Equal Justice Works interviews with employers must register and apply to available positions no later than Friday, September 14. You will be notified if you are selected for an interview between September 17th and September 29 and you will have the opportunity to accept or decline the interview until October 8th. Students who only wish to attend the informational "Table Talk" sessions with employers or other conference programming can register until the day of the event.
