Important - December grads and Pro Bono Scholars - time to register for the NY Bar Exam

If you are completing your JD degree in December 2021. (February 2022 degree conferral) or are a 2022 Pro Bono Scholar, it is time to register for the New York Bar Exam (UBE). You MUST​ register for the bar exam by 11:59 pm Tuesday, November 30th. Go to https://www.nybarexam.org and click on the link at the bottom of the page. The fee is $250, payable by MasterCard or Visa credit card.

The February 2022 bar exam will be in person. You must choose to be in the laptop program if you want to use a computer or laptop with Examsoft to write the MPT (Multistate Practice Test) questions the first day of the bar exam. It will be a full two day bar exam, with all components of the regular Uniform Bar Exam (UBE).

Also, if you have not passed the New York Law Exam, you must complete the New York Bar Course and register for the Thursday, December 16th New York Bar Exam by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, November 16th. Go to https://www.nybarexam.org/Content/CourseMaterials.htm for information, directions and links to the NY Law Course, and examination registration and course materials.
