Join the Eboard of the UB Native American Law Students Association

Post by CSO »

Great news! We have formed an official chapter of the National Native American Law Students Association at UB Law.

Now we need YOU to join our eboard! If you are interested in being part of this exciting new group and showcasing your leadership skills, email Elias Fox Schmidt at ellaschm@buffalo.edu. With your help, UB NALSA will do amazing things (and it will look great on your resume too)!

Description of the group:
UB Law's NALSA chapter will seek to support and provide community to all Indigenous law students throughout their law school and legal careers. UB NALSA's primary goal will be to provide academic support, professional opportunities, and social events to all Indigenous students and students interested in issues affecting Indigenous communities. UB NALSA will also work to promote law school discussions and study of Federal Indian Law, Tribal Law, and traditional forms of governance. UB NALSA hopes to recruit Indigenous students to UB Law and provide systems of support to those students. UB NALSA will be open to all students, faculty, and staff to create a diverse community of support within UB Law School.
