Building the 272-game schedule that spans the 18 weeks of the NFL season is a complex mathematical exercise. Schedule makers use cloud-based computers to create thousands of possible schedules before picking the final version. Broadcast ratings, competitive team issues and stadium availability are just some of the factors that go into the complicated process.

Join us as Mike North and Charlotte Carey discuss the challenges of choosing a schedule to showcase the league’s best matchups and talent.
