Free Personal Finance Counseling for Law students

Post by Student Affairs »

The University at Buffalo School of Law partners with the non-profit AccessLex Institute to offer our students the support services of MAX by AccessLex® - the personal finance program for law students – at no cost. AccessLex provides free personal finance counseling for Law students, as well as tips and resources for success with your legal studies and preparation for the bar exam -- again, all at no cost.

Now that you know what your aid package looks like, it’s the perfect time to build your law school budget for the year.

1. Log into Ask EDNA! – The Education Network at AccessLex (https://www.accesslex.org/ask-edna) to enter MAX by AccessLex.
2. Check out the fall schedule for all upcoming Building Your Law School Budget webinars if you’d like a refresher.
3. Download and try out the MAX Monthly Spending Plan worksheet.
4. Complete your full 1L, 2L, or 3L course in the “Get Started” section for MAX scholarship entries!

If you have any questions about the AccessLex Institute and its support services, please contact the Student Affairs office at 716-645-6223 or law-studentaffairs@buffalo.edu.
