Registration Process
This section is copied from the MPRE website at: http://www.ncbex.org/exams/mpre/registration/

The MPRE is developed by NCBE and administered on NCBE’s behalf by its test contractor, Pearson VUE. NCBE determines test accommodations for the MPRE, scores the exam, and reports scores to examinees and jurisdictions. The MPRE is administered on computers provided by Pearson VUE at its testing centers. It is to your advantage to schedule your appointment to test with Pearson VUE as early as possible to maximize the locations and times available to you.

You must have an NCBE Account to begin the registration process. https://accounts.ncbex.org/php/ncbe_number/

Step 1
Create an NCBE Account if you do not have one. https://accounts.ncbex.org/php/ncbe_nu ... ateAccount

Step 2
Apply for MPRE test accommodations (if applicable; otherwise, skip to Step 3). If you intend to apply for test accommodations, you must do so before you begin Step 3. Information about how to apply for MPRE test accommodations is located at MPRE Test Accommodations. The test fee does not need to be paid until you schedule your appointment to test. http://www.ncbex.org/exams/mpre/ada-accommodations/

Step 3
Log in to your NCBE Account, select MPRE Registration, and follow the instructions to complete the NCBE portion of the MPRE registration process and request your authorization to test. https://accounts.ncbex.org/php/ncbe_number/

Step 4
Receive an Authorization to Test email from Pearson VUE. The email will be sent from PearsonVUEconfirmation@pearson.com within 24 hours after you request your authorization to test (do not send correspondence to this email address, as it is not monitored); check your spam or junk mail folder.

Contact NCBE MPRE Registration if you do not receive an Authorization to Test email within 24 hours after requesting your authorization to test.

Step 5

If you do not schedule your appointment to test and pay the test fee by the registration deadline your test administration, you will not be able to take the MPRE during that test administration.

NCBE will securely transmit your MPRE registration information to Pearson VUE, and Pearson VUE will securely transmit your MPRE answers to NCBE for scoring. It is your responsibility to review the NCBE Privacy Policy and the Pearson VUE Privacy and Cookies Policy.

Scheduling Your Appointment to Test
The MPRE is administered in Pearson VUE testing centers across the country. Testing center choices cannot be guaranteed, and travel may be required. It is to your advantage to schedule your appointment to test and pay the test fee as soon as possible to maximize the locations and times available to you.

Rescheduling your appointment. MPRE appointments can be rescheduled for a different appointment time or a different testing center location for the same test administration for which you originally registered. Exam appointments must be rescheduled at least 48 hours prior to the appointment. To reschedule your appointment, access your online Pearson VUE account or contact Pearson VUE by telephone at 888-205-1855 and pay a non-refundable and non-transferable $25 fee.

Canceling your appointment. If you are unable to test during the administration for which you registered, you can cancel your appointment and receive a $70 refund. You can cancel your appointment in your online Pearson VUE account or by contacting Pearson VUE by telephone at 888-205-1855. You must cancel your appointment within 48 hours prior to the appointment to receive a refund. Your registration cannot be transferred to another registration.

The MPRE registration fee entitles you to receive one score release for your own records and to have a score report sent to the board of bar examiners of the jurisdiction you designate during the registration process. If you do not designate a jurisdiction before the exam, or if you decide you would like to have your MPRE score sent to additional jurisdictions, you must request and pay for a score report after the examination through MPRE Score Services.
