Symantec Anti-Virus Support Discontinued

Hi everyone,
I apologize, but University IT announced they have discontinued their Symantec license for students, effective last Thursday, August 13th. I recommended Symantec in a previous SIP Post dated August 5th, which I have since edited to reflect this change.
If you already downloaded a copy of Symantec from the UB IT website, there is a link with instructions on how to uninstall it on this page: http://www.buffalo.edu/ubit/news/articl ... etail.html along with recommendations for other antivirus programs based on your operating system.
