FREE to Students Virtual Networking with Attorneys!

FREE TO ALL CURRENT UB SCHOOL OF LAW STUDENTS!

Please join our Mid-Morning Coffee Chat Series (this is 2nd in a series), you will have exclusive access to four of our successful alumni-leaders who will give you tips on how to be successful in the field of FAMILY LAW & LITIGATION. In a roundtable discussion, they will talk about various career paths and reveal tips for being successful in practice post-law school, as well as answer any questions you may have regarding your interest in the field. All four have a multitude of contacts in numerous practice areas. They will review with you the wealth of options out there in the field of family law – some of which you may not have even thought about pursuing.
Be smart for yourself and take advantage of this benefit of your student membership. It will take place on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Zoom.

The alumni are:
Ashley C. Blahowicz ‘16, Managing Attorney, Blahowicz Law, PLLC, and current member of the UB Law Alumni Association. She will talk about her work as a court-appointed Attorney for the Child, as well as handling a variety of matrimonial matters from divorce or legal separation to custody and visitation. Ashley will also discuss her experience in handling Estate Planning, as well as real estate matters

Vanessa C. Gabriele ’14, Managing Attorney, Gabriele Law, PLLC, and current member of the UB Law Alumni Association. She will discuss her work as a family law attorney, with a focus on the handling of complex divorce matters, child support and custody, prenuptial agreements, as well as other matrimonial matters. She will also discuss her career trajectory and how she started her own firm.

Nicholas A. Romano ’13, Associate, Connors, LLP, and current member of the UB Law Alumni Association GOLD Group. He will discuss his work in criminal defense, civil litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and professional discipline.

Sarah E. Schulz ‘14, Associate, Bennett Schechter Arcuri & Will, LLP, and current member of the UB Law Alumni Association GOLD Group. She will discuss her work as a current insurance defense litigation attorney, as well as her prior work as a Plaintiff’s attorney specializing in personal injury and medical malpractice.
