Did you work this summer? Document it for the bar.

Post by Pro Bono »

Applicants for Admission to the New York State bar must provide an affidavit for all law-related employment and must also certify that they have completed fifty (50) hours of law-related pro bono work. If you worked this summer in a legal or law-related setting, document this work on an affidavit which you supervising attorney must also complete. You will need to maintain this form until you apply for admission, after the bar exam. But, doing it now will save the trouble if your supervisor leaves, retires or does not complete the form timely.
