Distance Learning Resources

Post by Assoc Dir Law Lib »

Dear Students,

As we make the transition to distance learning, we want to ensure you have the information you need to access your online classes regardless of the format your professors choose. Accordingly, please use the links below if you have any issues viewing or participating in your courses as we move forward in the semester.

• Viewing Recorded Lectures on Panopto: http://www.buffalo.edu/ubit/service-gui ... nopto.html
• Joining a Meeting on Zoom: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articl ... a-Meeting
• UB Learns for Students: http://www.buffalo.edu/ubit/service-gui ... earns.html
• Logging into UBbox: http://www.buffalo.edu/ubit/service-gui ... login.html
• TWEN Student's Guide: https://lscontent.westlaw.com/images/co ... _Guide.pdf
• Getting Started with Lexis Classroom: https://player.vimeo.com/video/283737721

Should you continue to have trouble accessing course materials or lectures after reviewing the guidance above, please contact ubithelp@buffalo.edu for assistance with Panopto, Zoom, UB Learns, or UBbox. For assistance with TWEN or Lexis Classroom, please contact the customer support line for either database. Westlaw: 1-800-850-9378 Lexis: 1-800-455-3947.

Lastly, for those students who remain on campus or who live in the area, all campus and law school services will remain available to you, including 24/7 access to the 5th and 7th floors of the law library. However, the library's opening hours will be shortened for the remainder of the semester to 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM as of this Monday, March 16th. Please stay tuned to all campus and law school communications and the University's Coronavirus website: https://www.buffalo.edu/coronavirus/dashboard.html for any further announcements.

Best wishes to you all for a happy and healthy spring break and for a smooth transition to the online learning environment. If my colleagues and I can be of assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you and all the best,

Brian
