Emdin Memorial Award: This award shall be given to one or more University at Buffalo School of Law graduating students who are members of groups traditionally under-represented in the legal profession and who demonstrate a commitment to community service, including significant service in faith-based communities, and/or have made significant contributions to the law school through involvement in student groups. Minority Bar Foundation Bar Support Award: A member in good standing of the Minority Bar Association of Western New York (MBAWNY), a law student attending University at Buffalo School of Law and/or any faculty member of the law school may nominate a graduating law student for the Minority Bar Foundation, Inc. (MBF) Commencement Award. A graduating student may also nominate himself or herself. Please do not mail or hand deliver applications.
