While this is not the format that we had all expected, we are committed to making the day special and ensure that our graduates feel appreciated. One of the things that makes commencement so impactful are words of congratulations from our law school community - faculty and staff and their fellow students. We can’t be there in person, but we can be engaged through social media.
1. Tune in on Sunday, May 17th at 3:00 p.m.
- Watch the various recorded segments including A Message from the Dean, the Conferral of Degrees,
the Student Address, the Singing of the National Anthem by our Student Singer, and the Awards
announcements.
2. Post your message/s to your personal social media account. Be sure the message is public, and please use the following hashtags at the end of your message:
• #UBClassof2020 (primary hashtag)
• #UBLawGrad2020 (secondary hashtag)
Messages posted to Twitter or Instagram during the virtual ceremony at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 17th will be pulled into our virtual ceremony’s web page, if they include the hashtags above.
You can also post your messages to Facebook or LinkedIn in the days leading up to Commencement or throughout the ceremony. Be sure to include our hashtags so we can find your posts and possibly share them.

Messages should be prideful, inspirational, and positive - honoring and celebrating our graduates. (Please use appropriate language and avoid any reference to alcohol.)
