Interested in an SBA Eboard Leadership Position?

What is SBA? The Student Bar Association is the elected body that represents student interests at the University at Buffalo School of Law. SBA serves as a channel for the student body and seeks to establish open communication channels and bonds amongst the student body with the administration, faculty, and legal profession in the community. Per SUNY, SBA leadership position elections which typically take place in the spring were postponed until Fall 2020. Positions available for 2020/21 SBA:
President
Vice President
Treasurer
Parliamentarian
Events/Fundraising Coordinator

Now is your chance!!! Here are some important dates regarding the upcoming eboard elections for you to take note of:

E- petitions and paper petitions will be available Mon. 9/7
- For an E-Petition: please email Rachael Sparacino (rsparaci@buffalo.edu) with which position you would like to run for. Once the petition is made you will receive access to the petition to view how many signatures you've received as well as a link to send to your fellow UB law student body to acquire signatures.
-You may currently request an e-petition, however, you will not receive the link to collect signatures until 9/7.
-Paper petitions will be available outside the SBA office.

Period to collect required petition signatures: Mon. 9/7 - Fri. 9/11; petitions are to be submitted no later than 5pm on Fri. 9/11
-Campaigning begins Mon. 9/14 at 8 am
-Campaigning ends Wed. 9/16 at 12 pm (noon)
-The voting link becomes live Wed 9/15 at 1 pm
-Voting ends Fri. 9/18 at 5 pm
