Undergrads – Are you interested in a Career working with families and children?

Preparing to recognize and respond to child maltreatment will be an essential skill for you. Earn a Micro-Credential in Child Advocacy Studies in just 3 courses:

SW 225 Perspectives on Child Maltreatment and Advocacy*
SW 235 Do We Really Care About Kids? Rethinking Child Welfare in the U.S.
SW 245 Global Child Advocacy Issues*
*Note: Also currently available as a UBC pathway options for Social Sciences.

After completing the three-course sequence, student electronically submit:

Controversial issues paper (from SW 225)
Interview with a professional (from SW 235)
Global child welfare research paper (from SW 245)

A copy of your unofficial transcript verifying a B or better in all courses
