Do you know a college or graduate-level student interested in learning about international humanitarian law, justice, historical curation, and legal research? Are you one, yourself?

The Robert H. Jackson Center offers internships for college and graduate students as an integral part of its mission and is currently seeking applicants who have declared majors in a variety of fields to join us for ten weeks next summer in beautiful Chautauqua County.

Interns will work directly with their academic advisors and the staff of the Robert H. Jackson Center to fulfill projects that reflect their skills and interests, and the needs of the Jackson Center – including research, web design, content creation for newsletters, blogs, webinars, podcasts, social media and the website, program development, videography, resource organization, and translation.

Program Highlights –

- A $2,000 stipend
- A deep understanding of Robert H. Jackson, his principles, and his work
- Field trips, including a trip to Washington, DC
- Network with leading experts, researchers, and educators through seminars and conferences, including practitioners of international humanitarian law, the leading Jackson biographer, and legal experts
- Organizing and repurposing video and audio content
- Research and propose program ideas
- Professional development activities, career mentoring, and social events
- Community interaction, including leading tours of the Jackson Center and participating in Center events
- A broad understanding of nonprofit structure, teamwork, and collaboration
