Exam Preparation Tips

Post by Assoc Dir Law Lib »

Hi everyone!

Now that we are less than a month away from finals, I thought I would pass along some excerpts on exam preparation from the Law Library's Success Collection, located on the second floor across from our new all-inclusive Service Desk.

1. Exam Preparation chapter from 1L of a Ride

2. Exam Preparation chapter from Acing Your First Year of Law School

3. Section on Outlines from Law School Without Fear

I hope these short readings will help you spend your time more wisely as you get ready for your exams. If you are feeling nervous, please know that everyone else feels that way too, but you will all get through it, and you will be home relaxing over the Holidays before you know it!

Speaking of holidays, if you are heading home for Thanksgiving and have a long car ride ahead, you may want to check out some study aids on CD from Koren A/V at the second floor Service Desk or listen to the audio study aids available through our West Study Aid subscription: https://gate.lib.buffalo.edu/login?url= ... demic.com/. And remember the Law Library has print study aids on the 7th floor, and past exams at the Service Desk and online: http://law.buffalo.edu/pastexams/.

If my colleagues in the law library and I can provide any additional guidance over the coming weeks, please let us know. We are here to help you!
