REMINDER: POWER HOUR alumni speakers and lunch Nov 19 at noon!

Dear Paid Student Member of the Law Alumni Association,

At a Power Hour open just to our paid members, you will have exclusive access to three of our successful alumni-leaders who will give you tips on how to be successful in any legal job. In a roundtable discussion, they will talk about various career paths and reveal tips for being successful in practice post-law school. All three have a multitude of contacts in numerous practice areas. They will review with you the wealth of options out there — some of which you may not have even thought about pursuing.

Be smart for yourself and take advantage of this benefit of your student membership. It will take place on MONDAY, NOV. 19, from 12 pm to 1 pm in the 5th FLOOR CONFERENCE CENTER

The alumni are:

Megan Gomez, Sr. Legal Counsel, Enterprise Legal Solutions, Excellus Health Plan,, Inc. - She is a current director of the Law Alumni Association, and will discuss being in-house counsel.

Michael Hecker, Partner in Hodgson Russ LLP- A former GOLD Group president, he is currently a director of the Law Alumni Association. He focuses his practice on environmental and energy-related matters, and business litigation.

Aaron Saykin, an associate in Hodgson Russ LLP- Currently president of the GOLD Group, he concentrates in business litigation, media law, construction law, False Claims Act actions and municipal law.
