Health Promotion is sponsoring and facilitating free 4-week mindfulness and meditation classes. Mindfulness strategies allow students to access present-moment experiences to assist them in better coping with stress and managing their emotions during tumultuous times.
To participate in the Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults program, you would need to attend all four classes. Please use the corresponding link below for the session you'd like to attend. We will close the classes at 12 students, so register now!
The program utilizes the easy-to-read book The Mindful Twenty-Something by Holly Rogers, which provides examples of how college students can practice meditation to support their university experiences. The book can be borrowed from the Health Promotion office - please e-mail Jackie Piciulo at jaclynsi@buffalo.edu if you'd like to borrow it and to coordinate a time for pick-up.
