4th Floor Construction/Asbestos Abatement

Renovations to the fourth floor of the law library are proceeding as scheduled.  Throughout the month of January, the construction team will focus on completing as much of the heavy demolition as possible before the spring semester begins. 

At the same time, they will also commence the abatement of asbestos in two designated areas of the construction space. This process is projected to begin in mid-January and will be fully contained to the 4th floor of the library. It will not affect other floors of the library or the building. The University will post notices on the entranceways to O’Brian Hall, approximately two weeks before abatement begins. The abatement process is expected to take approximately four weeks.
