The Criminal Justice Advocacy Clinic is hiring one to two Sundram Fellows for summer 2026. Sundram Fellows will have the opportunity to represent incarcerated individuals in second-look proceedings and to advocate for criminal system reforms in New York State.
Duties include helping to manage ongoing clinic cases, meet with clients, conduct investigations, interview witnesses, complete records requests, engage in legal research, and help review clinic intake matters; and potentially have the opportunity to assist with hearing preparation or to observe and/or participate in hearings scheduled over the summer.
This is a part-time paid position of approximately 20 hours per week for 12-14 weeks from May to August 2026.
Flat stipend of $3500 for summer
