The Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition, administered by the National Black Law Students Association, is a nationally recognized civil rights moot court competition. Each year, schools from across the country compete at regional conventions for the chance to compete at the competition’s national level. In the past several years, the University at Buffalo's BLSA chapter has won awards including Best Oral Advocate, Best Petitioner/Respondent Brief, National Best Respondent Brief, and has advanced to the national level of the competition twice.

BLSA will be disseminating information via email regarding tryouts and the problem packet on Monday, September 23rd. Tryouts will be held on Saturday, October 5th from 9:00am-6:00pm (Room 209). If there is a conflict with that date, please respond to this email as soon as possible.
Student must have paid NBLSA dues during the 2018-2019 term to be eligible to participate!
