Dear Students,
The past few days have been disconcerting, and we understand that you have many questions. I can assure you that we are doing all that we can to make sure that we are ready to move forward with classes immediately after the break and that we will support you throughout the transition. Regardless of where you are for the remainder of the semester, your law school is by your side.
In the meantime, here are a few things you should do to make sure that you receive new information as it becomes available:
- Sign up for UB Alert – UB’s free service that delivers text messages and email messages to UB students, faculty, and staff.
- Visit the UB Coronavirus Website - The University’s website provides the latest guidance and updates from authoritative sources including information regarding travel restrictions, links to additional resources, and helpful FAQs.
- Check SIP (the Student Information Portal) for updates and postings on law school events, activities, and announcements.
- Check your email regularly as your professors and instructors will reach out to you with information specific to your courses.
- Check your email every Monday morning for The Docket, our weekly e-newsletter that is sent to all law school students, faculty, and staff and features the most recent news and announcements.
- Reach out if you have specific questions or concerns. General questions may be sent to law-student-questions@buffalo.edu. If you have specific concerns, contact Vice Dean for Student Affairs Bernadette Gargano at gargano@buffalo.edu to schedule a time for an appointment by phone.
