Please be aware that grading policies for the University’s undergraduate and non-professional graduate programs do not apply to the J.D. and LL.M programs, whose grading policies (specifically, § GARP, III.D.2.) are subject to review under ABA standards and must comply with state bar admission requirements.
Potential modifications to our grading policies are part of our ongoing discussions internally and with the ABA, state bar examiners, and other law schools. In framing our response to the COVID-19 situation, minimizing the disruption to you and ensuring that your bar applications will not be delayed or denied due to non-compliance remain our top priorities. If any modifications to our grading policy are approved, we will advise you promptly. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this process.
