Required Examplify Preparedness & Mock Exam Exercise

Post by law-it »

Dear Law School Students,

In preparation for Spring 2020 final exams, Law School Records and Registration is requesting that you complete a set of mock exams through Examplify. This mock exam exercise is necessary to ensure that everyone has installed, registered, and practiced with the software prior to an actual exam. For detailed Examplify instructions and information, please see the Law School Records and Registration Department’s Examplify Information & FAQ page https://www.law.buffalo.edu/registrar/e ... ation.html. This exercise will take a total of approximately 5 minutes.

The law school will administer most exams through the Examplify software, with your instructors having the option of using one of three different formats. In preparation, Records and Registration have made available three (3) separate mock exams that reflect the following formats: written answer, multiple choice, and a combination of both. We are encouraging you to take all three exams to familiarize yourself with all three test formats. This exercise will acquaint you with all the exam formats and tools in Examplify; and will confirm that you have properly installed and registered the software. Each mock exam should take no more than a minute or two. Your participation in this exercise is essential and will help in eliminating problems that may arise during an actual test. Please note, that the office of Records and Registration will follow-up with e-mails to those who have not taken the mock exams.

**Please note that Law IT loaner laptops will not be available for the Spring 2020 exam period and that you are expected to provide your own equipment for test taking purposes. Please make certain that your computer is up-to-date and capable for the demands of test administration. If you currently do not have access to a computer, please start making plans to have a device available to you on the days of your exams.

There will be another distribution of Examplify information coming in the next SIP posting which will include specific exam taking instructions and exam day support, so please stay tuned.

If you encounter any issues with Examplify during the course of setup and mock exam taking, please contact the Law IT Department as soon as possible.
