Federal emergency financial assistance for students

CARES Act funding. Federal emergency financial assistance has been made available to students who have incurred educational expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic. To ensure students with the greatest need have access to this financial support, UB has automatically allocated funds to students through their financial aid package in the HUB student center, where they have the option to accept, reduce, or decline the funding. If you did not automatically receive funding but are eligible for assistance, you may apply for a Higher Education Economic Relief Fund grant through June 30, 2020.
