IMPORTANT ZOOM ACCOUNT INFORMATION!!

Taking remote classes? Please be sure you claim your UB Zoom pro license.
- All law students SHOULD use either the Zoom desktop client or the Zoom mobile app, not the web browser, to sign in to classes (and Orientation) so you can maximize the Zoom features to be used in class and beyond.
*Go to http://www.buffalo.edu/ubit/zoom to get started.
- Click the “Download Zoom” link (near the top)
- Click the “Zoom Client for Meetings” button to download the desktop client and/or the “Zoom Mobile Apps” button to download the app to your cell phone.
Be sure you are registered with your PROPER First and Last Name so it appears on the Zoom screen for ID purposes.
*It is possible to create a Basic Zoom account using your buffalo.edu address, thereby not claiming your UB Pro license and its added features. This is NOT the correct type of account for class purposes.
- To verify you have the proper account, go to https://buffalo.zoom.us and click the “Sign in” button. If prompted to switch your account, follow the instructions.
- Your profile, located in the top right of the software, should read “Licensed.”
