ACS hosts: Brand New Day: Recommitting to the Ideals of Democracy on 11/13

Join UB’s chapter of the American Constitution Society this Friday, November 13, at 6 pm for a post-election debrief and conversation. After a fraught election cycle, it is time to review the results and navigate the constitutional implications of a post-Trump presidency.

The first half of this event will be a roundtable discussion and Q&A session exploring how, as a country, we will reaffirm our commitment to the ideals and norms of democracy in the coming years, led by distinguished professor and election law expert James Gardner.

After our discussion, everyone is welcome to stay for a virtual “happy hour,” where we will socialize and unwind after the stress and excitement of the past few weeks. Bring your questions and ideas for the first half, and a beverage of your choice for the second!
