Whether you are a new or returning student, printing in O'Brian can be confusing. There are two disparate systems that behave differently and further complicating this matter is that the Mobility Print service expanded its options this semester which required the existing printer names to be changed. This means that returning 2Ls and 3Ls who previously used Mobility Print will have erroneous printer queues upon their return. To remedy this, all new and returning students should follow the instructions provided on the Mobility Print site to add (or re-add) the proper printers to you personal computers. UB Print Anywhere remains unchanged and should be functional for returning students.

Please take a minute to familiarize yourself with the two print systems available to you, especially with regards to where you can access them and their associated quotas.

UB Print Anywhere (powered by Wepa)​

• UB students receive a semesterly quota of pages to print at any of 40 print station kiosks throughout the campus.​
  • 500 pages for Spring and Fall
  • 200 pages for Summer (if enrolled)​
  • 100 pages for Winter (if enrolled)​

• Add more pages through Campus Cash​

• Two kiosks are located in O’Brian Hall, with many more are located throughout campus​
  • 1st Floor Lobby​
  • 2nd Floor Outside the Library Entrance​

• Flexible printing options (mobile device, personal computer, computing site, email, USB) ​

• Information and resources can be found on the UB Print Anywhere site

School of Law Mobility Print​

• UB students receive an annual quota of pages to print on the 2nd and 5th floor of the Law Library.​
  • 500 pages per year​

• Print from your personal computer only​

• Information and resources can be found on the School of Law Mobility Print site
  • Please be sure you use your UB credentials when installing the Mobility Print client, do not let your computer auto-fill local computer credentials
