Are you working or volunteering in law-related employment this summer? Please remember to complete the forms you will need for admission to the bar in New York at the end of your summer experience.

1.Pro Bono work to meet 50 hour pro bono requirementNew York State requires 50 hours of pro bono work to be admitted to the bar. See http://ww2.nycourts.gov/attorneys/probo ... reqs.shtml What type of work qualifies? See: http://ww2.nycourts.gov/sites/default/f ... sion_0.pdf Taking a Clinic or Externship at the Law School also counts for your pro bono hours. In addition, receipt of a fellowship or stipend does not disqualify the work from counting as pro bono work. Do NOT fill out this form for the hours you are counting on the 50 Hour Pro Bono form above.
