Forensic Evaluation Training for Human Rights Initiative Evaluations

The BHLS is partnering with UB HRI to allow law students to be involved with Human Rights Initiative Evaluations. As a volunteer, you would have the opportunity to sign-up for evaluations (3-4 hours in duration) and aid in the creation of affidavits that will be utilized in court.

In order to be involved with HRI, you must attend an upcoming Forensic Evaluation Trainingg to be held THIS Saturday, September 17th, from 9am to 3pm. The location of the event will be the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (955 Main St.), in the Active Learning Room, Room 1220. The training will be led by local experts in collaboration with Physicians for Human Rights.

This opportunity is great for individuals interested in immigration law, health policy, health law, public health, and civil rights litigation, and the training is free! Lunch and coffee will also be provided.

Register HERE: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp ... /viewform

FYI - You will not receive any confirmation after you submit your registration form. You will automatically be added to our registration list and will check-in on Saturday morning.

If you are unsure if you would like to be involved with HRI, please come to the training! You can decide after the training if you would like to continue your involvement and this training only happens one time a year.

Thank you to everyone who has signed up already! Please don't hesitate to reach out to adreese@buffalo.edu if you have any additional questions or concerns.

We hope to see you there!
