Use your talents and skills to help people and change systems. Neighborhood Legal Services (NLS), the largest provider of civil legal services in Western New York, is hiring for multiple attorney and paralegal positions in its Batavia, Buffalo and Niagara Falls offices.

3. Greco Trapp PLLC Paralegal/Legal Assistant
We seek an energetic candidate that is interested in working in a busy, fast-paced and collaborative environment. Must have a bachelor's degree and excellent computer skills. Preference to individuals with 2-5 years of experience, especially in litigation and Social Security Disability cases. Job duties include: Conduct client interviews and maintain general contact with the client; Participate in investigations and documentary research; Locate witnesses; Draft legal documents, correspondence and limited pleadings; Organization and itemization of extensive discovery documents; Request, review and organization of medical records; Summarize depositions, interrogatories and testimony; Interact with administrative and court personnel pertaining to administrative and court proceedings; Assist in the preparation for depositions, mediations, administrative hearings and trials; Review of pretrial orders and scheduling of due dates; Prepare trial exhibit lists and trial notebooks; Prepare deposition exhibit lists and deposition notebooks; Electronic filing of legal documents with courts and administrative agencies. Several former individuals in this position have entered law school after three years with us.
