This program works like a study abroad, and enables you to work with a Congressperson or in an organization. Some students have parlayed this experience into a job. Great for Seniors who have only elective credits left.
Summer 2023
The application portal for the Brockport Washington D.C. Internship Program is currently open for Summer 2023. The application deadline for the Summer 2023 program is March 1, 2023, although as always, we highly recommend students apply early. Let me briefly explain why we make that recommendation. Each organization has their own application timelines, and thus their own deadlines. Some of those deadlines fall prior to our application deadline, so students who apply at the last minute will miss out on some opportunities. Additionally, students who apply at the last minute have a narrow window of time in which they need to get a lot done. The students who apply early have a longer window of time in which to submit applications and can much more easily balance the work requirements of our process along with their other equally important responsibilities on campus related to schoolwork, etc.
