Attea & Attea , P.C., located in the Village of Hamburg, NY, is seeking a full-time paralegal for an immediate opening. We are a general practice law office with six attorneys and seven paralegals on our current team.
Prior legal experience or background in estate/trust administration, including general knowledge of the probate process and experience with filings in Surrogate Court is helpful. Additional legal experience in estate planning, business and transactional law such as commercial real estate, real estate development, business formation, mergers and acquisitions a plus, but not required.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the creation and maintenance of files through a web-based case management system (LEAP); assistance in al aspects of file maintenance and internal record keeping including maintaining daily diary system and calendar for responsive dates and deadlines; preparation, review and filing of estate documents or transactional/business agreements and documents.
General office administration and secretarial tasks needed for day-to-day operation of the firm including drafting various types of legal documents and correspondence, assisting clients and answering telephone inquiries.

Additional Qualifications include:
Exemplary organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills; must be detail oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with LEAP a plus
