Administrative Professional for Legal Diversity Career Fair

Administrative Professional sought to provide operational support for Legal Diversity Career Fair hosted by the Minority Bar Association of WNY (MBAWNY), UB Law School, and the Bar Association of Erie County (BAEC). Role is for an independent contractor to provide administrative and logistical support to the Legal Diversity Career Fair Co-chairs and Organizing Committee. Tasks include:

Operational Support

Recruitment of students/job candidates

Tracking and responding to inquiries from employers, sponsors and candidates

Supporting Co-chairs and Organization Committee administrative needs

Event Logistics and Execution

Venue selection and management

Coordinating travel and lodging options for out of town candidates traveling to event

Utilizing software to match employers with candidates for interviews

Supporting Co-chairs and Organization Committee with event day tasks

The ideal professional works independently and is comfortable with navigating new software and with the Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Word Press a plus. The time commitment will vary and is flexible with overall hours more intense during the initial planning stages and just prior to the event.
