UB Law Alumni Association seeks student assistant for the 2023 - 24 academic year

[Undergraduate Law BA]

The Law Alumni Association works with alumni and students by organizing events and programs, social and educational opportunities, and creating a network of connections, throughout the country and internationally. Alumni is seeking a student assistant to join the team. Work is ten (10) hours per week. The expectation would be for the next academic year, and possibly this summer.

Responsibilities
· Answering phones for the alumni office’s main line
· Opening mail that comes to the office
· Preparing letters for mailing
· Helping track alumni engagement in the university’s database
· Inputting membership information into the university’s database
· Filing membership and other office documents
· Help organizing/setting up events when needed
· Other administrative tasks required by other alumni staff

Requirements
· Effective communicator and ability to answer phones
· Must be organized
· Experience working with Excel
· Willing to learn new skills and take on unfamiliar tasks
