UB Startup Boot Camp – embrace your entrepreneurial and innovative spirit in a 3-day experience
February 2-4th | Open to all Undergraduate & Graduate students from all academic programs, no business experience required.
Do you find yourself identifying problems on a daily basis that need to be solved? Startup Boot Camp is a three-day program where aspiring entrepreneurs and those that are founder curious can experience startup life. You’ll learn how to take any idea from concept to creation in three days! The best part? It’s free and we’ll provide swag and food throughout the event.

This boot camp is designed to put your innovative spirit to test with like-minded students and Buffalo entrepreneurs. Over these 3 days, you will learn from industry professionals, team up with inspiring and hardworking students, and compete and receive feedback from our expert judges. Now Accepting Applications for the 2024-25 Western New York Prosperity Fellowship Program
Seeking students with an entrepreneurial drive who want to make a difference in Western New York - Open to all UG majors and GRAD programs

A leadership development program that provides selected Fellows professional development opportunities, as well as resources and access to WNY business leaders. WNY Prosperity Fellows are awarded a paid summer internship; scholarship support awarded during the academic year up to $30,000 based on a student’s unmet financial need, and an enrichment fund of $2,000.

This fellowship program will assist undergraduate and graduate students who are actively preparing for careers that further economic development and growth, especially in the WNY region. Open to all undergraduate majors and graduate programs. Fellows do not need to be from WNY, however the Fellowship supports students committed to the WNY region.

Fellowship eligibility:

§ Current sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students are eligible to apply;
§ Should have minimum 3.0 cumulative UG GPA / 3.5 cumulative GRAD GPA;
§ Candidate should have an interest in bolstering the WNY economy through job creation;

§ Complete the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the advised deadline. Please note that you may file a FAFSA using estimated income information and update your FAFSA once you complete your current tax return.

§ Fellowship Requirement: Only open to US Citizens or students holding permanent residency. Not intended for international students.
