Opened to law students as a courtesy of the Erie County Bar Association. The Court of Arbitration in Sport has jurisdiction over the Olympics and has dealt with a wide array of disputes since it’s inception in 1984. Kristen (Kris) Thorsness, Esq., a trailblazing Olympic gold medal rower and current arbitrator at the CAS, will discuss the history, structure, processes and recent decisions of the body as France prepares to host the 2024 summer Olympics! Lunch will be provided. Professional attire mandatory.
