Interested in working or practicing in a particular court?
Judicial Externships for the Spring 2019 semester are still available for 3rd year students.

City, County, Family, and Federal Courts have opportunities for you to explore what it would be like to be a judicial law clerk, but also to open your eyes to how the Court works and gives you insight to make you a better practitioner.

Of special interest:
An intensive judicial externship is available at the US Court of Appeals, 2d Circuit with the Honorable Richard C. Wesley. Judge Wesley's chambers are in Geneseo, New York and the judge's student extern would be required to work in Geneseo. Optional trips with the judge and his clerks to New York City when the Second Circuit meets there are possible, depending on the student's schedule and workload of the judge. Past externs have said this was one of the most rewarding experiences they had in law school, and Judge Wesley truly cares about providing a worthwhile experience for the "extern."
