1Ls and 2Ls: Please join us to learn about the Appellate Advocacy Programs and Moot Court teams offered by UB Law School and our Advocacy Institute, and the requirements for achieving the Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy. Appellate work is where one can help develop the law that broadly applies to multiple cases. The Advocacy Institute and UB Law's programs in appellate advocacy develop your skills in legal research, developing and supporting arguments, persuasive writing, and in oral communication -- all skills that every lawyer needs. And students who excel in appellate advocacy competitions are highly sought after in the legal job market. Wegmans subs will be served!

Wednesday, April 9
11:45 am – 1:00 pm
5th Floor Conference Center (Rm 509 O'Brian Hall)
