Sharing this invite on behalf of the Local Leadership Speaker Series:
Tuesday, October 21, 2025
5-6:30 pm
Silverman Library, Room 310
Dinner provided!
The series brings Buffalo changemakers to campus to expose students to diverse career paths, explore the complexities of policy, governance, and economic development, and foster connection over a shared meal. We also aim to strengthen ties between students and Buffalo-Niagara employers for those interested in building their careers locally.
This semester, we are excited to expand the speaker series to students across academic programs, and degrees.
Our Fall 2025 local leader is Dejia Marie James from the Partnership for the Public Good who will join us in the Silverman Library on October 21 from 5-6:30pm to discuss collective action, consensus, and co-governing models over dinner catered from Alibaba Kebab.
Please see the flyer below for more details.
