Hello and Happy New Year from the CSO!

Interview season for 1Ls is starting up, and the best way to rock your interviews is to prepare.  Here are some great resources to help you get ready to interview.

1. Live Interview Prep Workshops

These interactive classes will help you manage interview anxiety, construct a powerful personal narrative, and connect with your interviewer.  They will be offered three times for your convenience.  It will be the same workshop each time.

Register in LOCK for one of the following sessions:

Thursday, January 17 from 1:00-2:30
Tuesday, January 22 from 1:00-2:30
Thursday, January 24 from 1:00-2:30

All sessions will take place in room 107.  Bring a copy of your resume with you!

2. Interview Materials in the LOCK Resource LIbrary

Check out the "Interviewing Information" folder in the LOCK Resource Library for more sample questions, a guide to callbacks and telephone interviews, and more.

3. Individual Mock Interviews with the CSO

As always, use the LOCK Appointment system to set up a time to rehearse for your upcoming interview with a career counselor.  Practicing ahead of time makes your real interviews much more successful.  Please reserve 60 minutes for a mock interview.

4. Bloomberg Webinar Series

Attend Bloomberg Law’s® free 30-minute live webinars.
