ATTENTION LAW STUDENTS:
Researchers at the University at Buffalo are inviting you to a research study about how people use generative artificial intelligence (generative AI) tools, such as ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, or more domain-specific reference tools, in their learning or professional work. The purpose of this study is to better understand real-world experiences with these tools across different fields and levels of experience.
Participation involves completing an online survey that will take approximately 15 minutes and, optionally, ask you to share a representative chat history. At the end of the survey, you may choose whether or not to volunteer for a follow-up interview. The interview is optional and not required to complete the survey.
Your participation is voluntary, and you may skip any question or stop at any time. Survey responses will be kept confidential and reported in aggregate. You will have a chance to enter a draw for a $100 gift card at the end of the survey.
