Arbitration Competition Team

Interested in advocacy and alternative dispute resolution? Not on a trial team this semester? Try out for the NYSBA Annual Judith S. Kaye Arbitration Competiiton!!!!
The competition will include:
Partaking in a realistic arbitration before some of the most established arbitrators in NY state at AAA’s arbitration center. You will conduct a full arbitration hearing with openings, closings and witnesses.
Finalists will compete before an all-star panel including practitioners and Judges.
Cash Prizes will be awarded to students.
Competing in NYC November 8-9, 2019 at the AAA offices in midtown where real arbitrations take place every day.
Networking Cocktail Reception both days of the competition.
In the past UB Law has placed 3rd and won Best Brief in this competition. You will be enrolled in a companion course for one credit regarding advocacy in arbitration.
