Get on the bus! Tuesday, October 22nd at 3:30 or 4:45 in room 108.
We offer a one hour training for law students to help provide services as Neighborhood Legal Services launch its mobile legal services on the Justice Bus!
Jonathon Ling '16, Justice Bus Program Director for Neighborhood Legal Services will be your trainer for this one hour session. Be trained to help do intakes and help provide legal assistance under the supervision of attorneys.
The Justice Bus — a 12-passenger van that will transport law students and lawyers to provide on-the-spot legal help to poor and disabled people in Western New York. Neighborhood Legal Services will be joined by community partners including Volunteer Lawyers Project, the Western New York Law Center and the our UB School of Law.
The Justice Bus will travel to underserved Buffalo neighborhoods and rural areas of Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans and Wyoming counties.
