Partial Transcript: I am from Buffalo and have lived my whole life here. UB Law was an excellent Law School with great professors and an opportunity to see real trials and understand what lawyers were doing. And the excellence of the school has only increased as time has gone on. It was great dealing with the students, the faculty, and the administration. I graduated from Law School in 1968. The school was located on Eagle Street in downtown Buffalo, near the courts, near the law offices. We got to see the real practice of law on a regular basis. I got a great education there and it was a great experience.

Partial Transcript: My experiences at Law School were many and varied. The memories I think of most were the great professors: Ken Joyce, Jack Hyman, Bill Hawkland. Dean Hawkland's advice on the last day of class was "Now you know how to secure transactions, and to protect your clients, and to make sure that you have security for any debts that are owed to your client. But my advice to you is: when in doubt, take the cash." Study hard, do well. There's no great secret. This is the opportunity to hone your skills and gain the knowledge that will serve you well or poorly, depending on the effort you put in, for the rest of your professional life. Buckle down 'cause now's when it really starts to count.
